| Nordfab is ISO compliant. All ductwork is a clamp- together design using a die-formed, rolled edge, which is then joined together by a single lever clamp of similar material. All clamp together ducting is of continuous laser welded construction along the longitudinal seam of the rolled form duct. All connections shall have a nitrile seal in clamp for standard installs and a Gortex seal for mist or food grade applications. Duct material sheet blanks are five feet long, which is then rolled and fused together with a laser weld process along the longitudinal seam. The ends of the duct are then pressed in a die to form a rolled bead on each end of the duct.
This rolled end is used for clamping components together as well as reinforcement every 5 feet. |
